What is ECO4?
The UK government-supported program known as the Energy Company Obligation (ECO4 scheme) was established to enhance the energy efficiency of properties throughout the country.
Launched in 2013, this initiative mandates energy suppliers to implement affordable energy-saving measures in some of the UK's most at-risk homes, ensuring the financial feasibility for eligible homeowners.
This can include solar panels, insulation, boiler replacements or heat pumps, and since ECO4 is a government-backed scheme, it is completely free to you, the client, and funded by the larger energy companies instead.
